Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6 hydrochloride) is from the B-family of vitamins.
Pyridoxine HCL is water-soluble and is important to more than 100 enzyme reactions in the body.
Pyridoxine HCL is mostly related to the metabolism of amino acids and proteins. A deficiency of B6,
pyridoxine HCL, is one of the most common nutritional deficiencies. B6 is found in bananas, legumes, peanuts, potatoes, wheat cream, brewers yeast and organ meats (especially liver). Although because of food processing and cooking, most of the B6 is lost out of these foods. B6 is also found in eggs, carrots, chicken, fish, cabbage, brown rice and whole grains long with B12. B6 and B12 compliment each other in the communication process between nerve cells.
Pyridoxine HCL is involved in the production of hemoglobin in red blood cells and neurotransmitters like serotonin. B6 is required for the metabolism of MSG.
Pyridoxine HCL is shown to increase seritonin levels in the brain, to improve energy production in the body, to lower the rates of cardiovascular events after an angioplasty including heart attacks and repeated angioplasty, to enhance cognitive performance in older adults, to lower the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, to lower nerve-related problems that develop in diabetic patients, to ease premenstrual syndrome symptoms.
